This is a high current Wi-Fi smart switch that allows you to remotely manage and control your geyser and monitor it’s energy usage. The smart switch pairs with your smartphone using the free “eWeLink” app, and can then be linked to Alexa, Google Assistant or Google Nest.

The eWelink app allows you to check your geyser status anytime and anywhere, and turn it on / off with just a click of a button. You can also set single, repeating, and countdown timers to turn the geyser on / off automatically. The smart switch also works like a power monitor, allowing you to keep track of 99% accurate real-time current, voltage and power on your eWelink app.

The eWeLink app logs overall electricity consumption (kWh) for a specified period and day, providing 100 days of recorded electricity usage data. You can thus keep track of how much energy your geyser is consuming daily and monthly.

This smart switch comes in a standard electrical distribution board rail size (35mm x 7.5mm) and can be mounted inside the distribution board. Thus, to manage a geyser, you need an electrician to install it in the DB board and wire the output (L) from your geyser trip switch via this unit and then you can remotely monitor and completely control your geyser.

This smart switch can also protect an appliance from overload conditions. Simply set the threshold values for the current, voltage and power it should disconnect at.

Important Note:

This smart switch can handle burst loads of up to 63A, but the maximum continuous load should not exceed 5000W.
This smart switch cannot be used as the main circuit breaker, it needs to be installed after a normal circuit breaker. It is intended to switch a device load on and off only. It does not replace a trip switch.
